WELCOME

If you haven’t heard much about Hillyard Built,

please allow us to tell you a bit about who we are and what we’ve been up to!

In 2021 RHS Alumna Crystal Perry-Via (Class of 1999) founded Hillyard Built as a private business that donated proceeds back to Hillyard youth who needed financial assistance to participate in enriching programs. The business sold t-shirts and other merchandise that proudly proclaimed “Hillyard Built.”

In under 3 years, Hillyard Built donated over $6,000 before attaining their 501c3 non-profit status in 2024. We have helped Hillyard kids attend summer camps, take private music lessons, play sports, job shadow medical professionals, purchase college text books, attain passports to join their class on international tours, and more!

Now that we are a recognized 501c3, WATCH OUT!!!! We are doing BIG things, and the steam won’t stop rolling anytime soon!

We have dining nights at local Hillyard restaurants, we team up with other local non-profits, you’ll see us at festivals, and we are hosting our 1st Annual Hillyard Built Cornhole Tournament on July 20th in downtown Hillyard.

Our goals are lofty, and they have been since day one. We are already achieving many of those goals like seeing our shirts being worn around town (we’ve even bumped into them in Hawaii and Mexico!!), becoming a non-profit, and opening a storefront in downtown Hillyard (coming in August 2024).

Our next goal is to donate another $5,400 in 2024 to make our biggest year of giving totaling at $8,000. We can make this happen with your help! Buy some merch, make a donation and/or attend our events! Many of our events are mini reunions as we run into old classmates and teachers that we haven’t seen for years.

Feel free to cruise our site to learn more about Hillyard Built and we can’t wait to see you proudly wearing our gear. Because who isn’t proud to be Hillyard built??
